Dry Bones Itinerary / STL

In another collaboration with Chicago-based Artist Theaster Gates, KA developed a Neighborhood Design Itinerary as part of the programming for the Pulitzer Foundation for the Arts Urban Alchemy/Gordon Matta-Clark exhibition. The itinerary grew out of a series of workshops with students of the Holy Trinity School in the Hyde Park neighborhood of St. Louis, through which they identified the many challenges and opportunities in the design of their surrounding environment. These visions were shared with both residents of the neighborhood and visitors shuttled from the Pulitzer Museum and Bruno David Gallery. The itinerary and continuation of the project builds upon the idea of design conceptualization through multi-disciplinary, socially-engaged collaboration.
